Drives for Honey Extractors – Hand Drive, Gear-Reduction Motor & Automatic Drive (Logar)

For smaller and medium Logar honey extractors we offer robust, reliable drives in several versions. The proven hand drive with freewheel features a dustproof housing made of die-cast aluminium; the worm and worm wheel are manufactured from cast steel. With a gear ratio of 1:3 the hand drive turns clockwise. By holding the crank against the direction of rotation the extractor basket can be braked easily, with the crank remaining stationary while the honey is being spun out — particularly convenient when emptying the extractor.

As motor variants we offer gear-reduction motors (80 W and 110 W / 230 V). Using a control lever the speed can be adjusted steplessly from 0 up to 280 revolutions per minute, allowing optimal adaptation to the specific honey frames and extractor types. For automatic frame-turning and radial extractors, powerful automatic drives are available that make speed, rotation direction and extraction duration flexibly programmable.

If no 230 V supply is available, you can operate the extractor from a battery using a 12 V DC → 230 V AC inverter. Fully automatic controllers handle the entire extraction process: operation is convenient via a membrane keypad. You can create and store up to 8 custom programs; each program allows programming up to 8 different times, directions and speeds. The basic programs are preconfigured but can be adjusted or extended at any time.
